Java Math.asin() method

The java.lang.Math.asin() is used to calculate the trigonometric Arc Sine of an angle. Arc Sine is also called as inverse of a Sine. This method returns the values between -Π / 2 and Π /2.

  • If the argument is positive or negative number, this method will return the Arc Sine value.
  • If the argument is NaN or outside the range -1 and 1, this method will return NaN.
  • If the argument is zero, this method will return zero with the same sign as the argument.
